With the Blues Marathon behind you and the spring races not too far away, it is a good time to take an inventory of your body.
Are you dealing with any nagging injuries?

What steps do you take to manage your body's needs before and after running?
These are all good questions to ask, since your goal is to run and run well with minimal injuries. Whether you realize it or not, running with aches and pains is common, but if you choose to ignore your body's messages, you may end of with any number of issues that could make for a longer and more difficult road to recovery.
In the coming weeks, I will be exploring the basics of the most common running injuries and detailing how I approach these injuries using massage therapy, as well as some effective ways to prevent these injuries, which can save yourself a ton of worry and avoid sidelining you from your training.
